Planning a workplace investigation

You know that you have to do a workplace investigation; a complaint has come in and your policies speak to addressing complaints through an investigation process.

 

An investigation should always begin with a plan of how you will carry out the investigation.  Below are some of the things you’d want to consider when planning an investigation:

Organizational Vision

During a recent coaching session I was taking part in, I asked the group of managers in attendance what they believed the ‘vision’ was of the organization was.

 

After about 2-3 minutes of silence, I received a very nice little quote of the mission statement.
